This feature class shows the location of proposed, constructed, operating, and decommissioned facilities licensed under the Oil and Gas Conservation Act and Regulations across Saskatchewan.
<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This feature class shows the location of proposed, constructed, operating, and decommissioned facilities across Saskatchewan. A facility is any building, structure, installation, equipment, or appurtenance over which the Ministry of Energy and Resources has jurisdiction and that is connected to or associated with the recovery, development, production, handling, processing treatment, or disposal of hydrocarbon-based or non-hydrocarbon based resources or any associated substances or wastes. Facilities do not include wells or pipelines. A list of applicable facilities, and facilities exempt from licensing can be found in Directive PNG001: Facility Licence Requirements. This layer shows the location of each facility license so any facilities that are located on the same site, as described by their site identifier, will have their locations stacked on top of one another. Facilities that have unconfirmed locations have been placed in the center of the legal subdivision.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
