For general analysis and mapping. As indicated in the LAND_USE attribute, lands are classified into three categories, commercial forests, fringe wood supply area, and other uses. Commercial forests include Forest Management Agreements (FMA) and Term Supply License (TSL) areas. Island Forests and Fringe Wood Supply Area contains both productive timber land and agriculture land. 'Other' use indicates non-timber use areas, such as protected areas and agricultural lands. The spatial boundaries represented do not legally represent any agreement and should only be used accordingly. |
